The end of the season is near for the Western indoor track team. Both the boys and girls have had a strong season together and hope to continue their strong running deep into the postseason. At the Jefferson District invitational, Western had a number of great finishes in all different areas of the meet.

The first place single person winners were Chance Masloff 1600m, Annie Taylor 1000m, Lydia Garner in the high jump, and Katrina Barredo in the pole vault. Western also had relay teams finishing first, including Savannah Wilson, Caroline Outlaw, Madison Masloff and Annie Taylor in the 4×400. Finally, the combination of Chance Masloff, Annie Lorenzoni, Faith Reid, and Annie Taylor won the 4×800 relay. It was an overall effort that propelled the Warriors to capture a number of wins on the day. The Conference championships will be the weekend of February 7 at Liberty University.
