The 2014-2015 indoor Indoor Track season is underway. The young season has had only a few meets so far and this Friday and Saturday is the first major one. The meet is at Liberty University in Lynchburg. The team has returning runners from the Fall cross country season including standouts such as Gannon Willcutts, who ran in The Foot Locker Nationals only a few weeks ago, and Annie Taylor.

The boys team has two runners competing in the 300 meter race while seven others running in the 1600 meter. The Liberty meet is a large invitational where many schools will be represented in a variety of events. Junior Jack Ehlenberger had had this to say about dealing with nerves before the race, “I’ll be very nervous, but I’ll do my best and try to bring home the W.” Jack will be running in the 1600 meter event. It will be a close competition for both the boys and the girls teams this weekend and it should end up being very exciting.
