On Tuesday November 25th a long queue of students lined up to receive some mouthwatering pie. Once they had consumed their pie they were given the difficult task of determining which one was their favorite. Annie Lorenzoni won the overall contest with her Hershey cream pie with crushed mint m&m’s, however there were varying opinions.

Caroline Lund liked the chocolate with oreos pudding pie due to its “ good blend of flavors” and because it “kind of melts in your mouth”. AJ favored another chocolate pie because it was “not just solid or liquid . . . it had a fruit taste too”. However Evan Bumgardner especially liked the candy cane pie because “it was sweet” and he loves candy canes.

The contest sign ups were the previous week and the contestants had the choice of buying or making their pie. The contestants were competing for a mudhouse gift card and the contest was run by leadership. The types of pie ranged from fruits pies to chocolate pies, but they were devoured in no time.
