2013: Students Start the Spirit Week Competition
During lunch, students from all grades gathered in their respective corners of the cafeteria and started the scramble to complete their murals. The freshman class struggled to cover their red paper with white chalk to create an Arctic scene while the seniors excelled in turning their black background into an outer space “space-scape.” Juniors in white used all the man power they could get, calling out the names of students from across the cafeteria to get their help, and a pink mob of sophomores huddled over their jungle-themed pink banner. The beginning of Spirit Week has come with the promise of competitive and spirit-filled activities for the classes.
