March saw new music ranging from singles to EPs to covers from bands like Beach Fossils, who came out with a cover of Yung Lean’s song “Agony” from his 2017 album “Stranger”. Car Seat Headrest came out with a re-recorded version of their 2011 album, “Twin Fantasy”. Along with Iron & Wine’s song “Bitter Truth” on their album “Beast Epic” which was released August 2017. March also saw musicians Kevin Morby and Waxahatchee collaborate to cover two songs, “Farewell Transmission” and “The Dark Don’t Hide It” by the band Songs: Ohia from their 2003 album, “The Magnolia Electric Co.” for the charity MusiCares, a charity supporting musician health. Shakey Graves came out with a new EP in early February displaying a more dream pop side of his music rather than his typical folky sound.
