Mr. Thom Carter, who currently the sports marketing, is retiring after 34 years of teaching. Over the years he has taught sports marketing one and two, principal business marketing one and two, accounting,consumer math, personal finance, pre Algebra, intro to business.

Once he retires he wants to “mostly play with my grandkids, golf, travel, maybe be a substitute here a bit.” And despite looking forward to his years of retirement, he will miss the staff and faculty at Western.

His favorite part of his teaching experience he said was” meeting so many good students that I keep running into” as well as “ all of the friendships I have developed.”
