The Western Golf team finished up their season on October 6 with a strong showing at the Regional Tournament at Hidden Valley High School in Roanoke, Virginia. The team was led by senior Kyle Landis, who finished one stroke away from qualifying for the State Tournament at Jefferson Forest High School on October 13th.

“The team showed promising improvement at the end of the year,” said Landis, “The younger people really developed down the stretch.” On a tough, windy day, no members of the team were able to qualify for the state tournament. The team as a whole could not qualify either. The Warriors had a strong season and will look to come back stronger than ever next year .
