The WAHS Got Talent show is always worth watching; this year was no exception. Notable acts this year included an entertaining dance from Leadership, a solo piano performance from Finn Naughton, Justin Parker’s original song, and Sam Wooster’s impressive Russian dancing. Seniors Josh Xie and Kai Lehmensiek took first place with a spectacular piano and saxophone rendition of several songs, including Kanye West’s “Runaway” and Europe’s “Final Countdown”. Josh was thrilled by the win, and is “stoked that the crowd loved what [Kai and I] cooked up and glad [we] were able to make [our] mark on WAHS Got Talent.”

Ike is a senior and one of four Editors in Chief for the Western Hemisphere. This is his fourth year in Journalism. He is also a class officer, avid video game player, and loves making new friends. His favorite superheros are Batman and Spiderman, and he is absolutely thrilled for an awesome year of Journalism!

Reid Keller, News Editor
Reid is a senior and the News Editor for the Western Hemisphere. He is in his third year of Journalism, and has written a variety of stories for the paper during his time. Outside of class he plays on the Western tennis and track teams and enjoys fishing and hiking.
