The Western Hemisphere

Matt Mandell
Matt Mandell, a senior, is entering his third year working for the Western Hemisphere. Last year’s breakout season sets him up well to have a productive senior year in the Latitudes section where he entertains the Western Albemarle student body with a wide variety of material. His freedom ranges from arguing over what defines a sandwich to illustrating one of the greatest Wikipedia races of all time. Mandell, a huge sports fan at heart, will also be writing the occasional sports beat for the Western community to enjoy. His love and knowledge of football and basketball of all levels puts him in a great position to enlighten his readership on all things athletic.
