Garth Brooks

Cowboy

Probably the most iconic hat on this list, it is similar to the baseball cap in that it comes in many different varieties. The crown of the Cowboy hat is where some of these variations can be found. Two types are the Cattlemen and the Ft. Worth which both have two parallel creases on the crown, and when you think of these styles think of George Strait. Other styles include the Montana, the Gambler, the Telescope, the Bullrider, and the Open which has a round crown without any creases or indents. The material one selects for their hat is also integral to the style they are going for. Felt hats, à la Garth Brooks, are popular for a social gathering. Straw hats are another way to go, and are the most common type and the most practical when doing grueling work on a farm under the hot sun. A Cowboy hat is already the most classic hat on the list, but it can be taken to another level when it’s made out of full-grain leather. Although it is only middling in comfort, it is graded the highest in style, but beware: just wearing one doesn’t make you look amazing, you have to match it with the rest of your outfit.
