Gus Moore has massive goals for his new program, Project One Percent. Project One Percent is Moore’s latest business, and he’s “pushing self improvement, and trying to give people the opportunity to become the best version of themselves in all aspects of their life, whether it’s fitness, business, mindset, creativity, or health”. He “wants to scale it as large as possible to help millions of people”, but goals like this are not easy to achieve. Thankfully Gus has experience in scaling businesses, before starting Project One Percent, he ran a successful shoe reselling business. He started the business because he wanted to wear different shoes, but could not afford to. He said he learned a lot from the business that has translated to his new project. Thanks to his previous experience, Gus has been able to create a plan for his business and successfully execute it.
The goal is to create a platform “collaborating with instructors and coaches to create programs for people at an affordable price,” says Moore.
Moore manages a large team of people to help him achieve his goals. “Getting the right people in the right place at the right time is probably that hardest challenge” says Moore. Gus manages a team of 15 athletes with his partner, and the work that he does is equivalent to more than a full time job on top of school and his actual job, where he works at ACAC. Gus is extremely dedicated, he spends “8 to 10 hours everyday” working on Project One Percent.
Most people would be burned out if they lived like Gus, but he says “the process is super rewarding and fulfilling”. He believes he was “born as an entrepreneur”, and has large plans for the future, even though his business is still in its beginning stages
“The plan is to Launch merchandise in May, and next year we’re opening a digital wellness platform that is going to be subscription based,” Says Moore. This platform is going to take a lot of work but it will provide people with a lot of help.
