Make Way for Digital Imaging Ducklings

“It’s so soft!”

“This is the most beautiful thing.”

“I’m kind of scared, it’s a lot of responsibility!”

These remarks and many more oohs, aahs, and excited high-pitched squeals were heard Tuesday afternoon as the WAHS Digital Imaging and Photography classes met four special guests. Courtney Ralston’s pet ducklings Sunny, Perry, Ben, and Jerry paid a visit to the school in order to become better socialized with humans and to serve as subjects for photography students.

In Ms. Burnette’s words, the ducks were there to “have fun and bring smiles.” From the responses from the crowd of students, this mission was successful.

“I want the duck to be mine,” one excited student remarked.
